Distance = ut + 1/2 a t^2     where u = initial velocity , t = time and a = acceleration:

75 = 0(t) + 1/2 a (10^2)

50a =  75

a = 1.5 m s-2.

So using Newtons second law of motion

Force = mass * acceleration:

700*9.81 - T = 700 * 1.5

T = 700 * 9.81 - 700*1.5

= 5817 N.
