Read the excerpt from a short story. How does the character of the spotless ladybug affect the plot of the story? A group of lad

ybugs lived in a hollowed log in the middle of the forest. The ladybugs came in lots of different shapes and sizes. Some were large and orange in color. Others were small and red. All of them were covered in spots—all except for one. The other ladybugs made fun of this one spotless ladybug. This ladybug became embarrassed and covered its body with leaves. Nothing worked, though, and the ladybug continued to be teased by the other ladybugs in the log. One day, a flock of birds moved into a nearby tree. These were beautiful birds, but they were also dangerous. They had just one thing on their mind: eating ladybugs. The birds had no trouble finding all the ladybugs because of their spots— all of them except for the ladybug with no spots. This ladybug could blend in with the leaves and flowers around the log. That night, the ladybugs held a meeting. They decided that they needed get away from the birds. But how? The spotless ladybug spoke up. “The birds can’t see me. I can sneak into their tree when they’re sleeping and spill sticky honey in their nest. Then they’ll be stuck to the tree.” The ladybugs agreed to try this plan. A. The spotless ladybug was different from the others, but this quality helped to save the day. B. The spotless ladybug narrated the story so readers could understand what was happening. C. The spotless ladybug was teased by the other ladybugs and didn’t feel the need to help them. D. The spotless ladybug was smarter than the other bugs and was able to solve their problems. E. How might you open a conversation with the persons described in each of these situations? What ap-
tatiyna

Answer:

Of course, these are my opinionated responses so they might differ from what you're learning.

1. In a school environment, its more friendly and not really professional orientated. I would break the moment of silence and approach the student. Whilst doing that, having a eye contact and a smile on your face giving the impression that you're a friendly person. Some unfavorable responses would not having good eye contact and having a monotone voice.

2. As this is a professional environment, connections matter the most. Its always great to make relationships with your co-workers. Having a friendly attitude and open to communications with those people around you are very important. Introducing yourself to those co-workers with a great attitude and eager to work for the company always leave a great impression. Unfavorable responses are like the 1st response. Having a monotone voice, poor eye contact, and a terrible attitude.
