Answer:

Inelastic

Explanation:

Price Elasticity of demand is the a measure which is used to show the responsiveness of the quantity to its price.

Price Elasticity of demand = Change in quantity / Change in price

% Change in quantity = ( 45,000 - 35,000 ) / 45,000 = 22.22%

% Change in price = ( 20 - 30 ) / 20 = -50%

Price Elasticity of demand = Change in quantity / Change in price

Price Elasticity of demand = 22.22% / -50% = -0.4444

As the answer is less than 1 so, demand is Inelastic.

inessss [21]

Answer:

The refund claimed should be shown as a benefit due to loss carryback in 2018.

Explanation:

Since Tanner, Inc. incurred a financial and taxable loss for 2018. and decided to use the carryback provisions as it had been profitable up to this year, the amounts related to the carryback should be reported in the 2018 financial statements as a benefit due.

Tax loss carryback is when a corporation retrospectively adjusts its tax returns for prior periods if it incurs a net operating loss (NOL) in current period.

The loss carryback generates a tax refund for the business because it reduces previous year tax liability. After the carried back loss is applied, it will be as though the business overpaid taxes the previous year; which will now be shown as a benefit in the current year

The effect on the financial reporting of the company is that the liabilities on the balance sheet would be understated. This is because at the end of the year, a possible event was calculated. The management felt from the calculation of that event that it is possible that the event could become an actual liability and that the amount could be estimated explainably. So it would become understated if these calculations of probable events cannot be written down in the balance sheet or in the notes of the final statements. It is like a forecasting of possible events that may happen in the future to prevent losses in the company.

Adeeb is part of a group of students who are working with a bakery to collect marketing research. The bakery wants to determine
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

C) exploratory research

Explanation:

When the problem is not clearly defined, investigators usually use exploratory research. In this case, what does it mean for a pastry to be successful: has good taste, sells a lot, increases revenue, is profitable, how can it be improved, etc.

There are simply too many options that can define if a product is successful or not. This is why Adeeb's team prepared a survey that include questions that were not that specific. Why do you like or dislike the pastry? If the pastry's price is X would you buy it, if its price is Y?

The purpose of exploratory research is to better understand and gain knowledge about the problem, but it is really difficult for this type of research to provide a definite conclusion or answer.
