The answer is B: can’t bear listening to Hamlet because she knows he’s right.

Gertrude is Hamlet´s mother who, after the death of her husband, Hamlet´s father, married Claudius in haste raising suspicions on Hamlet as to whether she conspired with Claudius to have his father killed. Even though the latter is not fully demonstrated in the play, her guilt does eat away at her as Hamlet finally confronts her and we see that she can´t bear his words because they are true.
