The  x intercepts are both divided by 2 in both sets of parentheses (5+√13, 0) and (5-√13,0) don't forget to put both 5+/-√13 divided by 2!

Lucy is a dress maker. She sews \dfrac47
Strike441 [17]

Answer:

\frac{16}{21} dresses

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that

Lucy sews dress in 3/4 hours=\frac{4}{7} of dress

Lucy sews at constant rate.

We have to find the number of dresses sewed by Lucy in hour.

To find number of dress sewed by Lucy in 1 hour we will use unitary method.

By using unitary method

Lucy sews in 3/4 hours=\frac{4}{7} dress

Lucy sews in 1 hour=\frac{\frac{4}{7}}{\frac{3}{4}}

Lucy sews in 1 hour=\frac{4}{7}\times \frac{4}{3}

Lucy sews in 1 hour=\frac{16}{21} dresses

Hence, Lucy sews \frac{16}{21} dresses in 1 hour.

There is a greater correlation between the IQ scores of identical twins raised together than for fraternal twins raised together
sineoko [7]

Answer:

This correlation simply means that, in every twin whether identical or fraternal twins, there is a relation between their IQ scores and when they are raised together.

Regarding to the test carried out, it showed that, when an identical twin is raised together, their IQ score tends to be higher in direct comparison with a fraternal twin that was raised together. <em>That is, if the fraternal twin IQ is 100, then, the identical twin IQ is going to be above 100 (probably around 120)</em>

If p is the smallest of four integers, what is their sum interms of P
xxMikexx [17]

Answer:

If  p  is the smallest of  n  consecutive integers of the same sign than we have  p ,  p+1 ,  p+2 ,  … ,  p+(n−1) ,

So the sum is

∑k=0n−1(p+k)=∑k=0n−1p+∑k=0n−1k=np+n2−n2

Here  n=4

So we have  4p+6

And checking

p+(p+1)+(p+2)+(p+3)=4p+6

Note if  p=−v

Than you have the same thing as if  p=v−n+1  just negative for example  3  consecutive integers the smallest is  −5  so the sum is  −5+(−4)+(−3)=3×−5+32−32=−15+3=−12

On the other hand:

−(3+4+5)=−(3×3+32−32)=−(9+3)=−12

If  p=−v  the sum of next  v+1  integers is  −(∑k=0vk)=−(v2+v2)

Than needs an other  v  integers to bring it up to  0  again. From there it is

∑k=0hk=h2+h2

Where  h=n−(2v+1) .

So recap if  p  is the smallest of  n  consecutive integers their sum is

p+(p+1)+(p+2)+…+(p+(n−1))=⎧⎩⎨⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪⎪np+n2+n2−(n|p|+n2+n2)((n−|p|)2+(n−|p|)2)−(|p|p+|p|2+|p|2)((n−|p|)2+(n−|p|)2)n≥0p<0∧n<|p|+1p<0∧|p|<n<2|p|+1p<0∧n>2|p|+1
