"The Nose" is a satirical story written by Nikolai Gogol. In the story, the character Ivan Yakovlevich is a barber by his profession. One day while having breakfast with his wife, he found a nose in the bread. As he cut a loaf of bread he found the nose inside it. He recognized that the nose belonged to one of his customer Major Kovalyov. Major Kovalyov visited every Sunday and Wednesday to Ivan and he was his regular customer. When he found the nose, Ivan's wife became very angry and asked him to throw it away from their house.
