carbon dioxide from body tissues to the lungs. The average adult has
approximately 5million cells/ul. Its production is controlled by erythropoietin. Erythropoietin
is produced by the kidneys.

So, meiosis is the process where a single cell divides twice to produce four cells with half the original amount of genetic material. Mitosis is known as equational division. These cells are our sex cells, producing sperm in males and eggs in females throughout the process of mitosis. Eukaryotic cells go through the nuclear division process known as mitosis when they divide to produce two identical daughter cells.
