<h3>What are Mendelian Disorder? </h3>

The disorder which exists caused due to a mutation in one gene. Examples, Sickle cell Anemia, cystic fibrosis, Color blindness, and Muscular Dystrophy.

Mendelian Disorders can be described as a kind of genetic disorder that arises due to alterations in one gene or as a result of abnormalities in the genome.

Sickle cell anemia exists can be caused due to mutations or by the inheritance of genes. It affects the RBC of the person's body in which the shape of the RBC change from spherical to sickle shape, which affects the oxygen-carrying ability of the RBC.

For example, if the mother is the carrier and the father is diseased. The mother is heterozygous dominant but the father is Homozygous recessive, so there will be a 50% chance of the Progeny will be diseased and 50% will be a carrier.
