Answer:

Minimum wage laws do not apply in states with right to work laws.

Explanation:

Minimum wage law is a law which hinders employers from hiring employees for less than a given minimum wage. Once a minimum wage law has been set, the wage paid to workers would not be less than the agreed amount.

Right-to-work laws are state laws that bans labour union agreements between firms and labour unions. Under right-to-work laws, workers are banned from contracts negotiations.

Right-to-work laws aim are not to provide employment guarantee to people looking for work but are a ban by the government on contractual agreements between employers and union workers that requires workers to pay for the costs of representing the union.

Minimum wage laws does not create unemployment neither does it affect highly educated workers more than high school dropouts. Everyone has an equal chance of been affected as level of education doesn't really matter. Minimum wage doesn't cause labor shortages, there's increase in labor supply during this period as workers want to work since there is likelihood to earn more.

slavikrds [6]

Answer:

Explanation:

The interest expense would be

= Borrowing amount × annual rate of interest

= $80,000 × 8%

= $6,400

And, the principal would be

= Annual payment - interest expense

= $20,037 - $6,400

= $13,637

The principal balance on January 1, 2019 would be

= Borrowed amount - principal repaid amount

= $80,000 - $13,637

= $66,363

The interest expense would be

= Borrowing amount of 2019 × annual rate of interest

= $66,363 × 8%

= $5,309

And, the principal would be

= Annual payment - interest expense

= $20,037 - $5,309

= $14,728

Television advertisements typically portray the elderly as being
rosijanka [135]

Television ads usually portray the elderly as being vibrant, active, healthy, energetic, etc.

In television ads, things are usually depicted as being the opposite of what they are in real life. That, or television ads are meant to reinforce stereotypes. That's usually in more television shows, instead of advertisements though.
