                  "Mycorrhiza is a symbiotic association between fungi and roots of higher plants".

Explanation:
                     In mycorrhizal association fungi live in roots of higher plants. The fungi may be ecto or endo mycorrhiza. Fugi help in the absorption of nutrients that are too far from the access of roots and provide it to plants, In response plants provide nutrients to fungi which are important for normal growth and development of fungi.
