The life for a person under the rule of the Mongols would have been relatively peaceful, safe, and actually much better than under most empires of the time.

Explanation:

Genghis Khan was the founder of the Mongol Empire, and his sons and grandsons continued his legacy. This empire became the largest the world has ever seen until than, and it has only been surpassed by the British Empire later on in history. The Mongols had an excellent, well organized, very mobile, and very efficient military, mostly consisted of cavalry.

While the Mongols were often brutal toward the people they waged war against, they were actually really good rulers once a territory was conquered. The Mongols were very liberal when it come to practicing of different cultures and religions. They encouraged the people to co-existed peacefully and to work together. Also, their borders and the empire itself were very well controlled by the military and their allies, so it was very safe and peaceful. There's a period called Pax Mongolica, meaning a time of peace during the Mongol rule. The only people that had it tough and were not treated good under the Mongol rule were the Chinese.

The Mongol Empire stretched on the territories of:

  • East Asia
  • Central Asia
  • Eastern Europe
  • big portion of the Middle East
  • the Caucasus

One reason why the winner of the popular vote might not win the presidency is that
Sauron [17]
Due to the flaws on Electoral College, there will always be a possibility that the winner of the popular vote may not win the presidency. This has already occurred four times and the most recent in 2000. This is because of the winner take all factor which means that any votes won by the loser of the popular vote are not replicated in the electoral vote. Like in 2008, Barack Obama won only in the 51 percent of the popular vote in Ohio but still, he won all of Ohio's electoral votes even though most of the Ohioans voted for John McCain.

What American Indian tribe was living in the area of Georgia when the Spanish arrived in the 1 point
Bas_tet [7]

Answer:

Cherokee.

Explanation:

The Cherokee people have a long history in the Southeastern United States of Georgia. Historians documented their oral history in the 19th century that told the tribe had moved to the south from the Great Lakes area. The way of life and culture of the Native Indians in Georgia was profoundly influenced by the newcomers in the region. The native people had occupied the territory for centuries before the first European explorers appeared. The indigenous people's history was strongly affected by the Europeans who brought new traditions, concepts, beliefs, weapons, animals, and diseases with them.
