This is one of the basic beliefs of the Mormons

They are a church based on Christianity which was found by Joseph Smith. He believed that property should be owned commonly and not by individuals because people wouldn't be greedy then. This also applied to marriage since polygamy was encouraged so as to prevent only one person having access to something.

Mikael Gorbachev was the president of the Soviet Union in 1985. During his tenure, the Soviet Union was going through a moribund economy and a crumbling political system. He recover the Soviet Union from the ongoing crisis he adopted the policy of glasnost (“openness”) and perestroika (“restructuring”).

Glasnost focused on the transparency of governance. It curbed censorship and allowed non-communist parties to take part in elections.

Perestroika focused on economic reform. It opened the door of the central-command model and asked for private investment in the economy. Both citizens and foreign businesses were welcomed to invest in the economy of the Soviet Union.

Mikael Gorbachev's period leads to the fall of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War. It also leads to rising of Capitalism in the world.
