The hazards from the volcanoes include lava and pyroclastics, tephra and , lahars and climate alteration. Fertile soil and geothermal energy are beneficial results of volcanic eruptions. Much of El Salvador for example is convered with volcanic ash and this has been a fertile growing medium for coffee plants.
The sediments that is composed of mineral grains that are
eroded from the continental rocks is called terrigenous. The terrigenous
sediments are obtained from the erosion of rocks that occurs on land and that
they are being stored in the submarine canyons.
The Atlantic ocean spans the areas between the eastern coastlines of North and South America and the western coasts of Europe and Africa. W<span>hich means the Pacific (not the Atlantic) Ocean is between San Francisco and Sydney.</span>
