Since the total sum of the measurement of a triangles internal angles are 180 degrees. You first have to subtract 180 - 83 - 39.
After that you will get R which is equal to T. Then you will find the answer

180 - 83 - 39 = angle R

Angle R = Angle T

The answer of 180 - 83 - 39 is T

Answer:

First we need to calculate ∠R

Since ∠R is one of three angles of ΔRDJ, we have:

∠R + ∠D + ∠J = 180°

∠R                   = 180° - ∠D - ∠J

∠R                   = 180° - 83° - 39° = 58°

Since ΔRDJ ~ ΔTRB, we can con conclude that:

∠R = ∠T

Because ∠R = 58°

=> ∠T = 58°

Can someone simply explain how to find the area of a triangular prism ? step by step ^^;
Vika [28.1K]
The formula:
A = bh + L (s1 + s2 + s3)

A: area
b: base
h: height
L: length
s1: side 1 (cross-sectional area)
s2: side 2 (cross-sectional area)
s3: side 3 (cross-sectional area)

Here’s an example (see attached image)

A = (4 x 6) + (12 x [7 + 7 + 4])
A = (24) + (12 x 18)
A = 24 + 216
A = 240cm^2

I hope this helped? Comment if you need more explanation or anything!

If 800g of a radioactive substance are present initially and 8 years later only 450g remain, how much of the substance will be p
artcher [175]

A=Pe^(rt)

P = 800g

t = 8 years

A = 450g

r = This is what we will try and find to start with

450=800e^(r*8)

After running the math through a calculator, we end with r = -0.07192

Now we just re-input this information into our equation: A=800e^(-0.07192*16)

A=800e^(1.15072)

Now we will re-write the equation using the negative exponent rule:

A = 800 1/e^1.15072

Combine right side:

A = 800/e^1.15072

Then do the math:

A = 253.12709836......

That will give us A = 253 (rounded to the whole number)

I hope this helps! :)

How do you multiply fractions
cricket20 [7]

The way to multiply fractions include:

  • The first step when multiplying fractions is simply to multiply the two numerators.
  • The second step is to multiply the two denominators.
  • Finally, simplify the new fractions

What are fractions?

It is important to note that fractions are part of whole numbers.

Fir example, to multiply 2/3 by 1/5 will be:

= 2/3 × 1/5

= 2/15

In conclusion, one has to multiply the numerator and them multiply the denominator.

find the component equation of the plane which is normal to the vector -2i+5j+k and which contains the point (-10;7;5).
maksim [4K]

Given:

A plane is normal to the vector = -2i+5j+k

It contains the point (-10,7,5).

To find:

The component equation of the plane.

Solution:

The equation of plane is

a(x-x_0)+b(y-y_0)+c(z-z_0)=0

Where, (x_0,y_0,z_0) is the point on the plane and \left< a,b,c\right> is normal vector.

Normal vector is -2i+5j+k and plane passes through (-10,7,5). So, the equation of the plane is

-2(x-(-10))+5(y-7)+1(z-5)=0

-2(x+10)+5y-35+z-5=0

-2x-20+5y-35+z-5=0

-2x+5y+z-60=0

-2x+5y+z=60

Therefore, the equation of the plane is -2x+5y+z=60.
