Choose the equation that represents an exponential function that passes through the point (2, 36).
Alla [95]
Since we were given only one point, we have to test each exponential function for the point (2,36).

Since exponential functions are of the form y=n(a)^{kx}, The correct option is between option A and option C.

For option A,

f(x)=4(3)^{x}

On substitution, we have;

36=4(3)^{2}

\Rightarrow 36=4\times 9

\Rightarrow 36=36.

Since the point satisfied the exponential function f(x)=4(3)^{x}, the exponential function goes through it.

Hence the correct answer is option A.

No need to test for option C again.

Adding and removing energy can change the physical properties of a substance.
postnew [5]

Answer: True.

Explanation: Energy is being removed from the substance as it changes state. As energy is added to the liquid, particles throughout the liquid move faster. Boiling. When particles move fast enough to break away from other particles, they evaporate and become gas.

Massive Star

They are typically greater then 8 molar masses. They typically have a quick main sequence phase, a short red supergiant phase and a death of a spectacular Cosmic event: Supernova. From there they can either become Neutron Stars or Black Holes

Medium-Sized Star

They usually have a Normal Main Sequence phase (Billions of years). From there they bevome Red Giants and expell their mass in a planetary nebula. From there they shrink and become white dwarfs first, then black dwarfs.

C)
dybincka [34]

Answer:

Plants and trees are the primary sources of food for a food chain or a food web. If the population of the primary producers reduces than it affects the whole food web. If the deciduous trees are destroyed due to a fire, there will be less food available for the primary predators. As a result, competition will begin between them and their population will decline. Due to this, the population of other organisms which fed on the primary consumers will also decline.
