The correct answer is D) how entertaining it is.

Because the American news industry is dependent on advertising revenues to function and make a profit, decisions about news items may depend on how entertaining it is.

The news industry depends on advertising revenues because it is a business. Their owners and investors want to make a profit from the news. Unfortunately, this factor biases the news, which should be objective to exactly report the truth. However, the are many economic interests involved in this business and instead of working to report news that informs, educate, and makes people think, many times the news corporations are just interested in entertainment and profit from it.

How would you describe the social class and ruling system in western Europe in the fifteenth
Katen [24]

During the 15th Century, Western Europe’s social class system comprised the

1. King: The king was the absolute head of the ruling system. The king was in charge of divide the land among the monarchy and the church. Also, he was the one that named lords and knights. Moreover, all the members of the kingdom had to pay the king for the right to use the land through money or goods.

2. Lords: This class was made of powerful landowners and the heads of the church. On the one hand, the king was in charge of providing financial aid to the members of this class. On the other hand, both lords and church members rewarded this help to the king by keeping the population under control and ensuring the loyalty towards him.

3. Knights: They were the last link in the chain of nobility. Basically, they were in charge of ensuring the land control of the lords and of providing military aid to the monarchy.

4. Bourgeoisie: During the 15th Century, a new social class appeared in Europe: the bourgeoisie. This class was neither part of the monarchy nor the church. In fact, the bourgeoisie comprised merchants and agricultural industrials.

5. Peasants: They were the last part of the social class system. Most of the peasants were farmers and worked on the lands that were the property of the king or the lords, for that reason they had to pay for the use of it. Therefore, they lived in extreme poverty.

Write the very beginning of a story that could take place in the Southern United States during the Great Depression. Write at le
ella [17]

My Father said he was let go. "Let go from what, Father?" I asked curiously. He walked to his and my Mother's room. Not too long after, I heard yelling. It wasn't until my Father stormed out of the house that I heard my Mother cry. What was happening? It wasn't until now, 4 years later that I understood what happened.

They call it "The Great Depression," it's a quite accurate name. My Father was unemployed, and started drinking. My Mother decided to attempt to get a job, even then, there wouldn't be enough money to support my Father's Alcohol addiction, my brother and myself. I've also noticed my neighbors talking about my Mother when I am doing my house chores. We have resorted to going to St. Paul's potluck Tuesday worship. Everyone who went, usually only went to get a full stomach.

I am in charge of patching up our clothes. We cant afford new ones, so I have to fix the ones we already have. Everybody says, "Use it up, wear it out, make do or do without,” maybe it'll catch on. This depression has taken a tole on everybody however, some families more than others. Everything has gone wrong, I heard about this crime duo, Bonnie and Clyde? They are going around robbing banks in the North. It's not so safe, so Mother says I have to be in by 5 in the evening. What are we going to do if this never gets better?

Hope this was good enough, made it up as I went along so you shouldn't have to worry about plagiarism. :)))
