For which of the following do you need to double the final consonant before adding the suffix?
Vinvika [58]
Among the following words, the choice that you need to double the final consonant before adding the suffix to the base word is, shop + -er. The word shop plus -er becomes shopper with the double consonant p. The rule applied here is that, if the word is only one syllable and ends in a vowel and consonant, double the last letter before the vowel suffix.

Write an informative essay in which you explain your vision of a utopia. Describe three aspects of your utopia using supporting
densk [106]

Answer:

My utopia does not exist in a perfect world; the reason for this is that I believe there is no such thing as a perfect world. There are balanced worlds, and worlds that exist in harmony, but never a perfect world. If there were such thing as a perfect world there would be no need for advancements and breakthroughs as there is now. Society would become stagnant, and eventually die off. So in my utopia, my world, things are ever changing, there is not a day that is like any other; there are similarities, but never the same thing twice.

At what point did you realize the purpose of the lottery
fiasKO [112]
The purpose of the lottery is essentially a malformed version of Robin Hood. Instead of stealing from the rich to give to the poor, the lotto gets donations from the poor to give to a random person. Could be rich, could be poor. A "tax on the poor" as Dave Ramsey puts it.
