Whip: Assistants to the floor leaders who are also elected by their party conferences

Pro Tempore: That means that he's been transformed overnight from a minority-party graybeard to third in line to the presidency

Speaker of the House: The Speaker of the House is the presiding officer of the United States House of Representatives.
