How did feudalism provide for the security of the people of medieval Europe?
SpyIntel [72]
Feudalism provided for the security of the people of medieval Europe because each individual landlord protected the people on his land. Europe was divided into separate sections, called fiefs, which were presided over by a landlord who had laborers, or serfs, and knights living on his lands. The knights, who had pledged loyalty to the landlords in exchange for land, would fight in wars and protect the serfs and others on the fief from bandits and other dangers. Feudalism also helped the king retain power, because, so long as the majority of the landlords supported him, he could easily put down any rebellions.

Hope this helps!

How did the government fight terrorism on the home front?
valkas [14]

Answer:

The case was finally broken open in the summer of 2002. Confronted with evidence obtained through electronic surveillance and other means, the six admitted that they had gone to Afghanistan the previous year and pleaded guilty to training with a terrorist organization. The successful investigation demonstrated the value of sharing government intelligence with law enforcement officials. But even that information could not reveal why the six had gone halfway around the world.
