Western countries tried to solve the great depression by two means. fist, is to isolate their country from the rest of the world, for them to stand on their feet again. the other one, is to make social programs that facilitates trades with other nation. for the usa, the first solution did make any better, the situation become worst for them. that is why the make new economic policies
