Justinian was one of the most famous Byzantine Emperor, he ruled from 527 AD to 565 and was famous for his set of laws called the Justinian Code. He spread the Byzantine Empire and was able to gain back some of the territories that were lost to the barbarians.

The problem was that Justinian contributed to the fall of the Byzantine Empire by spreading its borders too far, to maintain control got harder which caused many civil revolts and left the empire unguarded for attacks.

Justinian also wanted to build new structures like churches, aqueducts, roads, and others, but to do so he needed money which caused him to raise taxes and lose the confidence of the population.

Give any two causes of the decline of the Rajput power after the death of Aurangzeb.
Ronch [10]
The Mughals did not follow any law of succession like the law of primogeniture. Consequently, each time a ruler died, a war of succession between the brothers for the throne started. This weakened the Mughal Empire, especially after Aurangzeb. It is generally believed by the historians that one of the major causes of the decline of the Mughal empire was the policy of conflict followed by Aurangzeb with the Rajput’s.
