So, parents observe that after teens their complexion is getting towards darker tone although in preadolescence they were just as fair as other siblings. This is proven by studies that sun exposure turns the skin tan and darker than original tone.
Therefore, we can say that both Heredity and environment play an important role in determining human development and behavior.
