The music industry doesn't do promo of instrumental, for many years and nowadays too it was considered an elite style, only a few people had the option to attended a concert. People don’t hate it, they are not familiarized unless there is a musician in the family.

Based on my perspective, I think it's false because commonly, people have a negative opinion about classical music because they think it's boring, like it's not modern. Like, for instance, now and day people listen to hip hop an rap not classics.
