milliliters of gasoline=(3.9 * 10³)(5.1*10³)=(3.9*5.1)(10³⁺³)=19.89*10⁶=
=1.989*10⁷ ml
Remember: 1 minute=60 seconds;
Therefore:

1.989*10⁷ ml-------------------1 s
x-------------------------------60 s

x=(1.989*10⁷ml * 60 s)/1s≈1.2*10⁹
