Option 2

<u>ANSWER:  </u>

The Standard deviation of (7, 9, 10, 11, 13) is 2.

<u>SOLUTION: </u>

Given, data set is (7, 9, 10, 11, 13)

Standard deviation \sigma=\sqrt{\frac{\Sigma(\mathrm{xi}-\mu) 2}{n}}

Where, \mathrm{x}_{\mathrm{i}} is element of data set

\mu  is mean of data set

n is total number observations.

Now, mean \mu=\frac{\text {sum of observations}}{\text {number of observations}}

=\frac{7+9+10+11+13}{5}

=\frac{50}{5}

= 10

So, the mean of data set is 10.

Now, standard deviation \sigma=\sqrt{\frac{(7-10) 2+(9-10) 2+(10-10) 2+(11-10) 2+(13-10) 2}{5}}

\begin{array}{l}{\sigma=\sqrt{\frac{(-3) 2+(-1) 2+(0) 2+(1) 2+(3) 2}{5}}} \\ {\sigma=\sqrt{\frac{9+1+1+9}{5}}} \\ {\sigma=\sqrt{\frac{20}{5}}} \\ {\sigma=2}\end{array}

So, the standard deviation is 2.

Hence, the second option is right, i.e. standard deviation is 2.

Answer:

Option (A)

Step-by-step explanation:

By satisfying the equation of a function 'f' by each coordinates given in the options we can get the point which lies on the graph of f(x) = 2\times (5)^x

Option (A). (1, 10)

f(1) = 2\times (5)^1

10 = 10

True.

Therefore, point (1, 10) lies on the graph.

Option (B). (0, 10)

f(0) = 2\times 5^0

10 = 2

Not true.

Therefore, point (0, 10) doesn't lie on the graph.

Option (C). (10, 1)

f(10) = 2\times 5^{10}

1 = 19531250

Not true.

Therefore, point (10, 1) doesn't lie on the graph.

Option (D). (0, 0)

f(0) = 2\times 5^0

0 = 2

Not True.

Point (0, 0) doesn't lie on the graph.

Option (A) will be the answer.

20=2H(4+W)+4(W)
distribute
20=8H+2WH+4W
divide both sides by 2
10=4H+WH+2W
solve for 1 variable, pick W
10-4H=WH+2W
10-4H=W(H+2)
(10-4H)/(H+2)=W

V=LWH
subsitute 4 for V, subsitute H for H and (10-4H)/(H+2) for W
V=(4)(H)(10-4H)/(H+2)
V=(40H-16H²)/(H+2)

8_murik_8 [283]

Answer:

2\frac{2}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Convert 4\frac{1}{3} to improper fraction. Use this rule: a\frac{b}{c} =\frac{ac+b}{c}.

\frac{4\times3+1}{3} -1\frac{2}{3}

2) Simplify 4 * 3 to 12.

\frac{12+1}{3}

3) Simplify 12 + 1 to 13.

\frac{13}{3} -1\frac{2}{3}

4) Convert 1\frac{2}{3}   to improper fraction. Use this rule: a\frac{b}{c} =\frac{ac+b}{c}.

\frac{13}{3} -\frac{1\times3+2}{3}

5) Simplify 1 * 3 to 3.

\frac{13}{3} -\frac{3+2}{3}

6) Simplify 3 + 2 to 5.

\frac{13}{3} -\frac{5}{3}

7) Join the denominators.

\frac{13-5}{3}

8) Simplify.

\frac{8}{3}

9) Convert to mixed fraction.

2\frac{2}{3}
