Answer:

Volume of Cone =

=  \frac{1}{3}\pi (2)^2 (4)\\\\=\frac{1}{3}(3.14)(4)(4)\\\\=\frac{1}{3}\times 3.14\times 16 \\\\=\frac{1}{3}\times50.24\\\\=16.746\\\\\approx16.75 \texttt {ft} ^3

Thus, Volume = 16.75 cubic feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of a cone is given by the formula

V=\frac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h

Where r is the radius and

h is the height

Given radius r = 2 and

height is 2 times that.

So height is 2*2 = 4

Plugging these into the formula we get:

Volume of Cone =

=  \frac{1}{3}\pi (2)^2 (4)\\\\=\frac{1}{3}(3.14)(4)(4)\\\\=\frac{1}{3}\times 3.14\times 16 \\\\=\frac{1}{3}\times50.24\\\\=16.746\\\\\approx16.75 \texttt {ft} ^3

Thus, Volume = 16.75 cubic feet

How would I do this?
Lelu [443]
I'm not sure about part B, but part A will have the answer "if Ron eats lunch today, then he will drink a glass of milk" (without quotes of course)

The idea is that we have these arguments in symbolic form
P = Ron eats lunch today
Q = Ron eats a sandwich
R = Ron will drink a glass of milk

The format is
"If P then Q" ----> "if Q then R"  so therefore "If P then R"

We see that P leads to Q, then Q leads to R. So overall P leads to R. We connect them as a chain of sorts. We can skip over Q since we know the first point will lead to the last. Think of it as a shortcut of sorts.

A right triangle ABC is shown. Leg AC has length 18, leg BC has length 24, and hypotenuse AB has length 30. Find the exact value
Tresset [83]
Although there i no triangle given as the question requires, I am still going to answer because I understand it.

ABC is a right angled triangle. The triangle is 90° at C.

The trigonometric ratio sine is given by, sine = opposite/hypotenuse .
Cosine = adjacent/hypotenuse

So therefore, Sin A = 24/30
                               = 4/5

                     Cos A = 18/30
                               = 3/5

Answer:

A) 40 feet.

B) 7 inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

A) To acquire 8 inches, multiply the corresponding scale factor by 8:

1 inch equals 5 feet; 8 inches equals 40 feet

The genuine house stands 40 feet tall.

B) You can write the percentage if you want...

dwg / (35 feet) = 1 in / (5 ft)

When you multiply by 35 feet, you get...

7 in dwg = (1 in)(35 ft)/(5 ft)

In the scale drawing, the home measures <em>7 inches in length</em>.
