Answer:

Pilgrims who arrive to settle in the New World did not know how to farm because of the soil. Settlers were not familiar with the New England soil, which was different than England.  Luckily Pilgrims had Native Indians who were willing to help them in cultivating new crops like corn, squash, and beans. Native Indians helped colonists by teaching them how to tap the maple trees for sap, along with how to fish in the Bay. Pilgrims were able to survive in the New World and celebrated Thanksgiving Day.

Answer:

A part of your brain called the thalamus helps you filter these stimuli through a process called selective filtering. If information is repeated, it becomes “implanted” in your brain and becomes part of your long-term memory. For example, your language arts teacher asked you to deliver a speech, the first thing you might do is gather information by reading books and watching videos relevant to this topic. The information you gathered is stored temporarily in your brain. As you write your speech, you retrieve and use what you have read and heard.

What impact did the Battle of New Orleans have on the United States in 1815 ?
raketka [301]

It was just about the only glorious victory the US had in the War of 1812. so it was something for Americans to talk about and write about and sing about. It made Americans feel good about themselves. Their frontier troops more than held their own against the experienced British troops who had defeated Napoleon earlier.
