I am pretty sure its not appropriate for measuring because you cant really measure anything with a light year. Bu then again you can use it to measure space. For example, Saturn is exactly 0.0001268 light years away from earth. But its really what you are trying to measure. Like if you were trying to measure how far Japan is from China you would use miles. I hope that this was helpful.

A student wants to find out if the amount of bleach has an effect on stain removal.
Step2247 [10]

Answer:

The second option.

Explanation:

We're trying to test the amount of bleach that has an effect on the stain so that is the altered variable.

The 2nd option uses different amounts of bleach to clean the same amount of stain.

If you choose the other options, people can argue that the bigger stain would be harder to clean with one cup of bleach, whereas the small stain gets two cups or the other way around.

It's not an effective way to see if the amount of bleach has an effect on stain removal.

6. What regulatory processes would your body use if you were trapped by a blizzard in an unheated, uninsulated cabin in the wood
Simora [160]

Answer:

Shivering and sweating.

Explanation:

A prolonged exposure to extreme cold environment would activate the brain's heat-gain center. Your brain's heat-gain center causes shivering in order to increase our muscle contraction which leads to warming of our body. Increase sweating is the regulatory processes our body use if it experience very high temperature. In order to regulate internal temperature of body, our body remove water which takes up heat with itself to lower th internal temperature.
