I am pretty sure its not appropriate for measuring because you cant really measure anything with a light year. Bu then again you can use it to measure space. For example, Saturn is exactly <span>0.0001268 light years away from earth. But its really what you are trying to measure. Like if you were trying to measure how far Japan is from China you would use miles. I hope that this was helpful.</span>

In a certain population, 99% of the people have Rh-positive blood. Suppose that two people from this population marry. What is t
Ivahew [28]

Answer:

The probability that both will be Rh-negative out of 99% Rh-positive is 0.01 x 0.01 = 0.0001.

Explanation:

The population contain 99℅ of Rh-positive. This represent almost all of the people.

However, there is still 1℅ chance of having an individual of Rh-negative.

Both of them will have the probability of 1℅ of having Rh-negative(0.01).

Therefore, Pr(Rh-negative AND Rh-negative) = 0.01 x 0.01. The result is approximately equals zero.

The both parents having Rh-negative, will have a dominant Rh-negative blood passed to their children, only recessive Rh-positive of 25℅ chance.

Since the chance of Rh-negative blood passed to their children is 75℅, it is inevitable that their children will be Rh-negative

If the arota of the heart is damaged, which function of the heart will be affected first?
Alisiya [41]

Coarctation of the aorta can cause high blood pressure in the heart. This can cause the muscle of the heart's main pumping chamber (left ventricle) to become thick. Eventually, the function of the heart muscle could deteriorate if the condition isn't treated.

Why does secondary succession happen more frequently than primary succession?
CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

soil nutrients remain in the area which enables plants to grow

Explanation:

In primary succession, a previously uninhabited or barren area such as newly exposed rock is colonized by living things for the first time. In secondary succession, an area that was once occupied by living organisms is disturbed, by an event such as a forest fire or flood, and then re-colonized following the disturbance.

Secondary succession happens more frequently and more 'easily' because once living things have been in an area, the soil is full of nutrients, making it easier for plants to occupy the space and grow more quickly. When there is no nutrients in the soil, it is much less fertile, and tricky for plants to grow.
