find the length of a rectangular lot with a perimeter of 140 m if the length is 6 m more than the width.
satela [25.4K]
The width would be x.
the length would be x+6
there are two of each (since it’s a rectangle)
so x+x+x+6+x+6=140
simplify
x= 32
l= 38
w= 32

amm1812

I mean it would be A and D because I don't know why they are both the same answer. If 10 books were sold yesterday, at LEAST 20 are needed to make the goal.

You spent 1/2 of your money at the theater and 1/4 at an arcade. you have $17.50 left. How much money did you originally have?
4vir4ik [10]
You basically add 17.50+17.50=35 and add 35+35=70, reason being is because the 35 is the 1/2 and 17.50 is the 1/4 so 70 is your answer
