Answer:

Loosely defined, culture refers to the shared values, beliefs and norms of a specific group of people. Culture, therefore, influences the manner we learn, live and behave. Because of this, many theorists believe that culture is an important shaper of our personality.

NEED A MEMOIR OF 500-750 WORDS. MUST BE ABOUT A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE THAT IS IMPORTANT OF THE REASONS YOU ACTED, THE ACTIONS YOU
pav-90 [236]

Hello, I wrote a quick essay, and there are some places where I have parentheses. They are gaps that you need to fill in, to make it seem more realistic. Hope this helps! (503 word count)

Growing up, I never realized the responsibility of raising little ones. When I turned (enter random age under 18) , I recall taking a trip too (enter a state you’ve been to) and there, I visited my relatives that had (enter number 2-4) children that were all under the age of seven. It was hard at first, because I didn’t know how to properly take care of young ones. I stayed in (enter state) for over a month, and I learned a lot. It was very exciting, because I was able to learn how to entertain the children.

Sure, they may have been annoying, but I think back to what I was like when I was their age. Constant screaming, laughing, crying, all of that. I recall taking them on walks with the dogs, that was a lot of fun. I developed a lot of skills, because caring for little ones is far from easy. It is extremely stressful, and if anything happens, it’s always on you.

One important lesson I learned is patience. You have to be patient, because children don’t know right from wrong at such a young age. You have to listen to what they want, and move forward based on what is appropriate. As a teenager, listening and being patient is not something that I was good at.

Having been raised with (enter amount of siblings) there was always a constant battle. I felt left out at often times, so I would never listen. However, as soon as I met the little ones, I began to balance out listening and being patient.

Sometimes one of the kids would trip, they would cry really loud and I soothed them by telling them they were alright, and that their mother would be back soon. They would smile and go back and play. That’s just part of being patient. Making sure they are content, before going on about your day.

One other thing that I learned on that trip was willingness to step up and do what is right. Taking care of (enter number of children) is stressful, because you don’t want any of them to feel left out. I had to be willing to step up and make sure they were all getting treated fairly, because when I grew up that was not the case.

In conclusion, that trip I went on was a good life lesson that I have learned, and I hope to keep learning more and more. Raising kids is stressful, but everyone has their own special techniques. There was a lot I had learned, the main points being patience, kindness, and listening. In the end, it was super beneficial. I’m glad I went on that trip, it showed me how to be a better person. If I had not learned any of this, I would not be who I am today. I have proven to myself that I can be a better person, and I did it on my own. For that, I am proud of myself.

Agata [3.3K]
By today’s standards, my mobile phone is pretty basic. It’s a Nokia. It’s a small device that receives telephone calls and sends text messages. Other than that, my phone does NOT DO that much. Most of my friends wish they could HAVE their own smartphones because they are cool and trendy. They say the GOOD thing about a smartphone is that you ‘can do everything with it!’ That’s right, smartphones have many more functions than a simple phone, however, not all of them are needed. In everyday life, smartphones are used mainly for checking social networking sites, replying to emails, and playing games. Grown-ups as well as children, like playing games. Anyway, I prefer my good old Nokia. It’s my number ONE mobile phone. When I bought it, it didn’t cost me very much. And I am not afraid anyone will ever steal it. It’s also very reliable. Yesterday I dropped it. It flew down the staircase and hit the wall. I thought that would BE the end of it and I would have to buy a new one. But nothing of the kind – it still works properly!
