The photo summarized:

The first branch of the phylogenetic tree holds the species of the bacteria division. It contains thermotoga bacteria, green non-sulfur bacteria, cyanobacteria, gram-positive bacteria, and purple bacteria. The second branch of the phylogenetic tree holds species of the Eukarya. It contains diplomonads, microsporidia, trichomonads, flagellates, entamoeba, slime molds, ciliates, plants, animals, and fungi. The last branch of the phylogenetic tree starts at the beginning of Eukarya line and holds the species of the Archaea division. It contains Thermococcus, Pyrodictium, Thermoproteus, Methanobacterium, and extreme halophiles.

The questions:

A) Plants and animals evolved from the Bacteria domain.

B) Bacteria and Eukarya are more similar than Archaea and Eukarya.

C) Eukarya has similar evolutionary traits to Archaea.

D) Eukarya and Bacteria developed on the same evolutionary line.

The answer is: C

emmasim [6.3K]

Answer:

The term secretion refers to the cell that releases a substance into the extracellular space.

Explanation:

When a cell or organ or gland produce and secretes substance in to extracellular space, this biochemical process is called as secretion.

The secretory products may be hormone, enzymes etc.

This process facilitates the movement of material from one place to another place.

For example, Pituitary gland produce and release prolactin hormone that induces breast cells to produce lactation during sucking process done by baby.

Pituitary gland also secrete different hormones that acts on different glands like adrenal, testes, ovary, thyroid gland etc that in turn produce different hormones like adrenaline, testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, TSH,T3, hormone etc.

A client in her third trimester reports sleeping poorly: sleeping on her back results in lightheadedness and dizziness and lying
BlackZzzverrR [31]

Women are being advised to sleep on their side in the last three months of pregnancy, women in their third trimester are encouraged not to sleep on their backs. When they sleep on their back, the chances of the heavy uterus can reduce blood flow to the uterus and fetus, which can result in a stillbirth. Also, women are encouraged to sleep on their left side, as this is considered the best choice because the uterus naturally alternates to the right during pregnancy and left-sided lying will bring it more to the center and improve blood flow.

To help her sleep, a pillow can be placed between her legs or a long body pillow to support the back are often helpful. When a pillow is placed direct at her back and front, it helps support her body, resulting in a more comfortable position for sleep.

The major reason why she is having lightheadedness and dizziness when she lies on her back is that the weight of her uterus can compress a major blood vessel, called the vena cava, this then disrupts blood flow to the baby, leaving her nauseated, dizzy, and short of breath.
