Match the philosopher with his Ideas achievements or events in his life Aristotle
Leni [432]
Hey there!

Aristotle was a thinker, a teacher, and more known as a philosopher. He was born in Chalcis, Greece, in 384 BCE, and died in 322. He was one of the greatest thinkers of the known world, and his ideas shaped massive intellectual revolutions backed behind philosophy and thought such as the Enlightenment. Plato, another philosopher was his inspiration. Like Plato, Aristotle thought that philosophers were necessary in society, but it's not proven that he necessary believed that they knew better than everybody else- as Plato stated in the Republic. However, even though he studied in Plato's academy, he publicly expressed his non-belief of Plato's forms theory.

When Aristotle, an original Macedonian, was in Athens, he made many contributions. He created the basis of our mammal classification systems and wrote over 100 books. Aristotle disagreed with many, and being a philosopher as opposed to a historian (such as Livy) he created many of his own. In conclusion, his contributions greatly shape society today.

Hope this helps, and be sure to come to me with any questions!

The correct answer is B) Cuban independence was assured.

The Spanish-American War was one in which the United States got involved in helping Cuba become free from Spanish control. The United States ended up winning this war, helping Cuba become free from Spanish control. Along with this, the US gained the Philippines, Guam, and Puerto Rico from this deal.
