3 0

Answer:

2.1

Step-by-step explanation:

when you combine like terms you have to combine the d's with the d's and the nonvariable number with the nonvariable number.

this is how it should look like

(-2.8d+2.8d)+(3.4+(-1.3))

a negitive plus a posative cancel out so the d's disapier and now you only have 3.4+-1.3. this is just like subtracting so you can put it like this

3.4-1.3 and you will get 2.1

Help geometry bisecting angles
dusya [7]

Since the angles are bisecting < RSU = < UST

substitution----- 4x+16=9x-9

subtract 4x from both sides----- 16=5x-9

add 9 to both sides-----25=5x

divide by 5 on both sides------ 5=x

The value of x is 5

substitute the value of x in both expressions

1st expression: 4x+16

substitute the value of x------ 4(5)+16= 20+16=36

2nd expression: 9x-9

substitute the value of x-----9(5)-9=45-9=36

< RST= <RSU+<UST

<RSU=36 degrees

<UST= 36 degrees

------------------------------------you have calculated both above-------------------------------------------

m<RST= 36 + 36=72 degrees

Using the arrangements formula, the probability of the butterscotch, cinnamon, and then chocolate candies eaten in this particular order is:

\frac{1}{6}.

What is the arrangements formula?

The number of possible arrangements of n elements is given by the factorial of n, that is:

A_n = n!

In this problem, there are 3 candies, hence the number of ways they can be eaten is:

A_3 = 3! = 6

The desired order is only one, hence the probability is:

\frac{1}{6}.
