Andrew met his roommate Danny when they both joined the Independent Filmmakers Club as freshmen, and they have a large group of

mutual friends through that group. More recently, Danny has joined a fraternity and has been inviting Andrew to join him at the frat's parties and other events. Andrew has accepted a few invitations but feels awkward at the fraternity events because he just doesn't identify with the other people who attend. We would describe the filmmakers' club as Andrew's ________ and the fraternity as a(n) ___________.

Answer:

Ingroup; outgroup

Explanation:

An ingroup refers to an restricted small group of people with a shared interest or identity, while someone is considered an outlook when he or she does not belong to a particular ingroup. As a a consequence, Andrew's ingroup is his the filmmakers' club, where he hangs out with Danny and other friends in common. On the other hand, Andrew does not feel comfortable at Danny's fraternity events and he is under the impression that he does not belong.

I’m pretty sure it’s the 3rd sentence, “Farmers are helping make America more energy independent while at the same time generating new rural income by producing renewable energy.” I think it is that one because the farmers are helping make more energy while there’re climate changes, it could be that one or I also think it might be second sentence.

Since, in the sentence we can see that the action is continuing. Hence its present continuous tense.

The above sentence is about present continuous. Here two actions are happening. One is "listening" and the other is "are singing".
