Answer:

In a way, one could say he was justified.

Explanation:

After the attacked on pearl harbour by Japanese, created fear and outrage against the Japanese Americans, and it was a common belief that the Japanese Americans were spies and had helped them. President Roosevelt issued Executive order 9066 in 1942 to evacuate all persons who could be a threat to national security from the west coast. Japanese were sent to live in camps with barbed wires and were not allowed to go outside the premises. Most of these camps built in the areas where the Japanese were populated. It was justified because Roosevelt issued an order on the grounds of military necessity, and to reduce a threat to national security.

What could be a result of a government not adhering to the rule of law? (Select all that apply.)
soldi70 [24.7K]

The correct answers are A) Laws change often and there is no standard process for deciding what will become law, C) Laws do not apply basic principles of fairness and morality, and E) Laws allow government officials to behave in any way, without adhering to the same laws as other citizens.

The results of a government NOT ADHERING to the rule of law could be the following: Laws change often and there is no standard process for deciding what will become law, Laws do not apply basic principles of fairness and morality, and Laws allow government officials to behave in any way, without adhering to the same laws as other citizens.

The rule of law means that nobody, including the government, is above the law. The rule of law is doing this right by every single member in a society. No exceptions.

So The results of a government NOT ADHERING to the rule of law could be disastrous for the civic life in a society and the security of its citizens. Laws could change and for any reason, to the convenience of the officials. There would be a tendency for corruptive practices. Laws do not apply basic principles of fairness and morality, it could become the "law of the jungle," or the survivor of the fittest. And finally, Laws allow government officials to behave in any way, without adhering to the same laws as other citizens. This means that the powerful men in power can do whatever the like, and impose their will on people.

In which of these areas olid Bellmon cause controversy with hometown voters? Select all that apply. reapportionment
amid [387]

Answer:

In the area of "reapportionment"

Explanation:

Budgetary accountability was the benchmark of the Bellmon administration. On account of his position on sales taxes, he attempted to build up the state budget. The new chief executive particularly confronted issues in financing the state's schooling division. Bellmon accepted that cuts and revamping in training could set aside cash. Teachers, nonetheless, clamored for a salary increment, and both the Oklahoma Education Association and the National Education Association voted sanctions against the state.

In 1965 the council increased teacher's salaries through increment in cigarette taxes and an expansion in the valuation of foreseen state income.

Quite possibly the most problems that are begging to be addressed standing up to Bellmon included reapportionment of the governing body, which was overwhelmed by meagerly populated provincial territories.

The U.S. High Court settled the issue by deciding that the state must be divided by populace. A completely reallocated assembly met in January 1965 with 33% of the solons coming from Oklahoma and Tulsa regions.

Why Russia has many pipelines in their country ?
REY [17]

Explanation:

A new natural gas pipeline being built under the Baltic Sea from Russia directly to the German coast is shaking up geopolitics. Nord Stream 2, as it’s called, worries the bypassed countries in Eastern Europe, who fear losing transit fees, and is adding to friction with the U.S., which argues the link would give the Kremlin new leverage over Germany and other NATO allies. As the project nears completion, those trans-Atlantic tensions are building, with Donald Trump threatening to reduce the number of American troops in Germany partly because of the gas link.
