How does refrigeration affect the amount of bacteria present in milk?

Biology
1 answer:
prohojiy [21]4 years ago

The number of bacteria present in milk that is refrigerated is likely to be lower than milk that is not, because the temperature of the refrigerator is likely to be a lower temperature than the optimum for the bacteria. This prevents the enzymes from working effectively (though they are not denatured)  and the bacteria are less able to multiply

The force required to prevent the movement of water across a selectively permeable membrane is __________ pressure
SOVA2 [1]

The force required to prevent the movement of water across a selectively permeable membrane is osmotic pressure. The plasma membrane forms a vesicle around the substances to be transported, and the vesicle around the vesicle is taken into cells.

Osmotic pressure depends on both the pressure gradient and concentration gradient.  This is only affected by the temperature and concentration of solute, each affect the movement of water across a membrane.

Higher the concentration is higher temperature increases osmotic pressure, which produced or associate with osmosis and dependent on molar concentration and absolute temperature. Hydro-static pressure forces fluid out of the capillary , osmotic pressure draws fluid back in.

In the northern hemisphere, pressure gradients and the coriolis effect applied to low pressure centers produce winds that blow..
Lelu [443]
It will blow internal and counterclockwise. In tornados, the weight diminishes from the external isobars toward the middle. At the point when the weighted slope and the Coriolis impact are connected to weight focuses in the Northern Hemisphere, winds blow counterclockwise around a low. Around a high, they blow clockwise.

Which genes would a crop scientist most likely insert into a crop to protect it from droughts and insects?
Aleonysh [2.5K]
Commonly, genes from bacteria are inserted into a crop's chromosomes to produce pesticide substances to kill insects

For drought, I'm not fully sure, but Maize is a very drought resistant crop often introduced to communities which receive little rainfall. Maybe they take a gene from the maize crop and insert it into the chromosomes
