On a circle of radius 5 feet, give the degree measure of the angle that would subtend an arc of length 1 feet. Round your answer
zmey [24]

Answer:

11.46°

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the angle that yields an arc length of 1 feet, if r= 5 feet, applying the circumference length equation and assuming that a full circumference has 360 degrees:

1=\frac{x}{360}*2\pi r \\1=\frac{x}{360}*2\pi 5\\x=\frac{360}{2 \pi 5}=11.46^o

Rounding to the nearest hundredth, the angle should be 11.46°

You have 9 chairs arranged in a circle, and wish to seat 9 people (one person per seat). The one constraint is that person A can
stiv31 [10]

Answer:

30240 number of ways are there to seat them

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of ways of arranging 9 people on 9 chairs  in circular manners = (9-1)! = 8! =

number of ways A sit always sit next to B = AB together makes a single and

therefore total number of arrangements for this  = 7+(AB) = 8  that is 8  persons sitting in circular manner

number of ways = (8-1)! =7! = 5040

likewise number of arrangements for A and C will be = 5040

Total number of ways such that A cannot sit next to B or C = total ways of 9 persons - total number of A always sitting next to B - total number of ways always sitting next to C  = 8! - 7!-7!

                                        = 40320- 5040-5040

                                        = 30240

Write each complex number in rectangular form.
hram777 [196]
Hello,

A)
cos 135°=- cos 45°=-√2/2
sin 135°=sin45°=√2/2
2(cos 135°+i sin 135°)=-√2 + i*√2

B)
cos 120°=-cos 30°=-√3 /2
sin 120°=sin 30°=1/2

3(cos 120° + i sin 120)=-3/2*√3 +i*3/2

C)
cos (5π/4)=-cos (π/4)=-√2 /2
sin (5π/4)= -sin(π/4)=-√2 /2
5(cos (5π/4)+i sin (5π/4))=-5/2*√2 +i *5/2*√2

D)
cos(5π/3)=cos(π/3)=√3 /2
sin (5π/3)=-sin(π/3)=-1/2

4(cos(5pi/3)+i sin (5pi/3))
=2√3- 2*i
