The people of Mesopotamia established some of the first civilizations in the history of humanity. Moreover, the complexity of their political and social arrangements led to a variety of different industries, occupations and goods. They were able to engage in trade, and they exported food, wine and pottery. However, one of the resources they did not trade with was stone.
