Jackson campaigned for President of the United States twice. During his first run in 1824, Jackson was neither expected to do well nor taken seriously by other politicians. They were wrong to doubt him because extremely and nationally popular with the people- and renowned for his military experience. But, he was no match for his competition Adams after Adams received the support of their former competitor Clay, who won the House Majority.

After winning, Adams took part in many controversial initiatives giving Jackson ammo to claim that Adams and his government were corrupt. In 1828, Jackson ran on the platform of patriotism and discipline earned through his military career as opposed to the political experience of his competitors. This led to Jackson winning the popular vote in 1828 and 1832.

Extermination would not create a subordinate group. Extermination means that the whole group is killed, so there would be no people left to form the subordinate group.

An example of planned extermination was Holocaust in World War II - the aim was not to have a Jewish population in Europe at all.
