part A: perimeter is 38

steps: add all 4 sides to get perimeter (the outer length)

9.5×9.5×9.5×9.5=38

equation: p=s^4 or p=s×s×s×s

p stands for perimeter and 4s is the side length being multiple 4 times

part B: area is 90.25

steps:you multiply the length times the width to find are and since a squares sides are all equal you multiply 9.5 times 9.5

equation: L×W= area

Given the graph of y=f(x), shown as a green curve, drag the green movable points to draw the graph of y=−f(x). When the green li
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

The <em>resulting</em> function is presented in the image attached below.

In this question we know the graphic of a function and we must draw a <em>new</em> function which is the reflection of the <em>original</em> one around the x-axis. Mathematically speaking, a reflection a around the x-axis is defined by the following operation:

f'(x) = f(x) - 2\cdot [f(x) - 0]

f'(x) = - f(x) (1)

Which means that the <em>reflected</em> function is equal to the <em>original</em> function multiplied by -1.

Now, we proceed to represent the <em>reflected</em> function graphically.
