Hey there! :)
When teachers ask you for the standard form in math, they are asking you to find the simplest form an equation with variables can be in.
Ax + By = C
Example : put y=2x -3 into standard form.
Subtract 2x from both sides.
-2x + y = -3 —> standard form.
Hope this helped! :)

ALRIGHT I'LL FIX MY ANSWER SORRY! :_ (
like I said before, standard form is when you take equations/expressions with super large or super small numbers and simplify them. These equations/expressions usually simplify with exponents.
Example:
43,000,000 * 3 = y
simplifies to:
4.3 * 10^7 * 3 = y
simplifies to:
12.9 * 10^7
I hope this helps this time!

Answer:
we get the
x-intercepts setting y=0 and the in the equation
y-intercept setting x=0 in the equation.
Step-by-step explanation:
x-intercepts( y=0)
Hence x=-2 and x=-4 ( We got two x-intercepts)
y-intercept( x=0)
.
the y intercept is y=8 ( only is possible to find no more thant one).
