I'm a naturally inclined people-pleaser, and if a person acts unfairly to me, it would be in my best interest to make sure that their needs are met before mine. Yes, it's messed up, but I can't help reacting that way. However, if a person acts unfairly to another person, my brain would be forced to look for a compromise that would "please" both the offender and the victim--even at the cost of my own personal needs. Therefore, I would say that I agree because I usually hesitate/pause and think before acting in a compromising situation.
