By the time people realize they are an addict to something or someone, they will do whatever in their power to stop this addiction.  Even though they might acquire to return to their addiction, they aspire to not be addicted to anything anymore.  The first step that the addicts would take is to acknowledge their addiction.  This can be seen by the affliction it has on people.  These people might be a bit agitated and have an adjacent attitude, but it is only temporary, as they are going without something they previously saw as necessary.  The more support addicts have, the more they can accelerate their healing.
