Which explains why Ottoman leaders began a policy of deportation and extermination of Armenians within their empire?
Solnce55 [7]

Answer:

A) They claimed that Armenians were trying to establish their own state within the Ottoman Empire

Explanation:

The Ottomans lost lot of territory from what was once the large, and very powerful empire. Because of this, they were forcing everyone to declare themselves as Turks, as well as to accept the Sunni Islam, thus to create a state with one ethnic group and one religion. The Armenians were not fond of this and rejected it, so the Ottomans were afraid that they will try to separate part of the country thus make it even smaller. Because of this, the Ottomans started  with genocide over the Armenians, resulting on over 1.5 million deaths, and many more displaced, people separated from their families, and even mothers separated from their little children.

Elena-2011 [213]

Answer: The work of Thomas Paine is an effort to inspire people in the colonies to fight for their rights.

Explanation:

The paper was published in 1775 as an effort to inspire people in the colonies to fight for their rights. It was posted anonymously on January 10, 1776, at the beginning of the American Revolution, and it became an immediate sensation. Comparing the population of the colonies of that time, this prose is part of the best-selling book in the history of the united states. Paine associated independence with the general rising Protestant beliefs as a means of representing a distinctly American political identity. The author, through his actions, encouraged people in their pursuit of independence. The author focused on ordinary people, and his work was imbued with moral principles and democracy.
