When did the Renaissance take place?
myrzilka [38]

Answer:

The three reasons why the Renaissance began in Italy were the emergence of the dominant and wealthy Italian city-states, the incomplete dissociation of the modern Italian civilization from its past culture and the prevalent display of monuments and architectural feats that constantly reminded the people of the magnificence of the ancient Roman Empire. These elements gradually revolutionized medieval Italy into a contemporary setting.

The term "Renaissance," which means "New Birth," was considered a cultural and intellectual progression where the passion for classical literature, the arts and knowledge flourished. The prominent figures during this period were Cosimo and Lorenzo de' Medici, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Dante Alighieri and Petrarch.
