Prejudice can be defined as judging someone before you know anything about them, it can be racial, gender-based or religious. In the olden days, people were not open to other societies due to lack of means of transport, they mostly used to spend their lives in the vicinity of the place where they were born. They never used to encounter people from other races, region or religion and hence they were afraid of them. Although societies have opened up and people know more about the world due to globalization there are still various types of prejudices rampant in society. Gender based discrimination is against the members of the society due to their gender.
