Amongst many other gross things that they learned when mummifying bodies, they learned the basic structure of our body. They also learned how the body worked, along with how we could preserve bodies for long periods of time.

What was an outcome of Cuba’s decision to switch to a communist government?
goldfiish [28.3K]

B. Cuba and the Soviet Union became allies.

The United States was concerned by Castro's anti-American rhetoric, his "radical" policies, and his association with a number of suspected leftists. So, due to Castro's "foreign ideology" (in the perspective of Americans), the United States was prompted to keep a wary eye on his administration.

Since the Soviet Union shared similar interests to promote and expand communism, they formed an alliance.

The correct answer is implicit memory

Explanation:  Implicit Memory is the memory for procedures and skills, for example, the ability to drive, play ball, tie the shoelace and tie.

<u>It can be of four subtypes. </u>

memory acquired and evoked by means of "tips" (Priming) (or memory of perceptual representation) - which corresponds to the image of an event, preliminary to the understanding of what it means. An object, for example, can be retained in this type of implicit memory before we know what it is, what it is for, etc. It is considered that memory can be evoked by means of "tips" (fragments of an image, the first word of a poetry, certain gestures, smells or sounds).

procedural memory - refers to skills and habits. We know the movements necessary to knot a garvata, swim, drive a car, without having to describe it verbally.

associative memory

non-associative memory - These last two are strictly related to some type of response or behavior. We use associative memory, for example, when we begin to salivate simply by looking at an appetizing food, for having, at some point in our life, its appearance or smell associated with food. On the other hand, we use non-associative memory when, without realizing it, we learn that a repetitive stimulus, for example, a dog's bark, does not pose risks, which makes us relax and ignore it.

Vika [28.1K]

This calming reaction is due to the action of Bridge's <u>"Parasympathetic nervous system".</u>

The parasympathetic nervous system, or PSNS, is a piece of the nervous system. The nervous system sends signs to and from various body parts by means of nerves. The PSNS is in charge of all the substantial exercises that happen when a creature is very still. Hence, the PSNS is known as the "rest and digest" some portion of the sensory system. These activities can incorporate processing sustenance, discharging waste, crying, salivating, or winding up sexually stimulated. The partner of the PSNS is the thoughtful sensory system (SNS), which is in charge of "fight or flight" exercises that happen when a creature is choosing to battle another or escape.
