An example of dramatic irony in Act V, Scene 3 of “Romeo and Juliet” is:

a. Romeo thought Juliet was dead when he poisoned himself, but the audience knew she was alive.

After knowing that Juliet had died Romeo wanted to enter the tomb in which Juliet laid dead desperately. When he discovers Paris he asks him to get away from the tomb, but he didn't leave the tomb. Paris and Romeo indulge themselves in a fight in which Paris is killed by Romeo. He takes Paris into Juliet's tomb and then drinks the poison. When Juliet awakes, she finds Romeo dead after which she too stabs herself with a dagger. This event was an example of Dramatic irony as the audience knew very well that Juliet is feigning her death but Romeo finds it to be the reality.

An example of dramatic irony in Act v, Scene iii of Romeo and Juliet is:

a. Romeo thought Juliet was dead when he poisoned himself, but the audience knew she was alive.

Further Explanation:

In Act v, scene iii of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo thought Juliet was dead and that’s why he poisoned himself. He didn’t knew that Juliet was alive since the letter never reached him. But, at the same time, the audience knew that Juliet was not dead since they had witnessed that Balthasar did not reach Romeo in time to hand over the letter.

Romeo wanted to get into the tomb in which Juliet laid dead frantically after he discovered that she had died. When he finds Paris, he told him to get away from the tomb, but he didn’t leave the tomb. Paris and Romeo started fighting among themselves which leads to Paris death by Romeo. He then takes Paris into Juliet's tomb and drank the poison. When Juliet became conscious, she finds Romeo dead after which she too stabs herself with a dagger. This event was an example of Dramatic irony as the audience knew very well that Juliet is faking her death but Romeo finds it to be the reality.

This scene is considered as dramatic irony since the audience knows what is going on but the characters don’t know about each other and about the situation in which they find themselves. When compared with the audience, the actors in the scene know practically nothing, which increases the irony extensively in the scene and keeps the audience in an increased state of suspense and anticipation and thus, the dramatic irony.

Students in grades K-12 are measured in English listening, speaking, and writing on TELPAS through a holistic rating process. Wh
Bess [88]

Answer:

The option that is not part of that intended process is:

* Used in retaining students in grade-level if they are not advanced enough to successfully proceed in the curriculum.

Explanation:

* Used in retaining students in grade-level if they are not advanced enough to successfully proceed in the curriculum.

* Teacher-conducted and used in ongoing quality instruction and formative assessment Rubrics-based process of evaluating abilities as a whole rather than as skills in isolation

* Used for official summative TELPAS assessment in spring of the year

* A direct and authentic way to assess English language proficiency

The results that teachers and school get from the grading of their students with the TELPAS method can not be used as a way to keep a student in the current school year, it gives accurate information about the student's level which later would definitely determine the academic possibilities the student could have but it does not allow the teacher to keep the student.
