Answer:

a decrease in her intrinsic motivation.

Explanation:

According to self-determination theory, the impact of this reward system is likely to be a decrease in her intrinsic motivation of reading books and writing short stories. The self-determination theory states that it is vital for psychological well-being to be in control of one´s destiny. So, the impact of this reward can only be detrimental to Nikki's intrinsic motivation for reading books and writing short stories. Being extrinsically rewarded makes intrinsic motivation decrease.

Stereotype vulnerability refers to savants.
elena-s [515]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

stereotype vulnerability means to feel some type of way because something involving your ethic group or culture in the intelligent aspect is believed to be common among your group or culture. For example, African Americans are believed to score lower than White Americans. Or that white Americans score lower than Asian Americans. Believing these stereotypes can cause that person or people to be vulnerable to not trying as hard in the intelligent aspect.

Most people will accurately identify lying what percentage of the time?
wolverine [178]
The answer to this depends on what sources you are using, but some sources state that people identify lies only 55% of the time!

That's very little, considering that 50% is the chance level - this number would be the one used if we could never really use our intuition to guess correctly. For example if we guessed that every second person randomly lies that would give us the "chance level" of 50 %. (if exactly half of the people lied).

And in real life, we can tell 55% of the time if people are lying - this means we are slightly better than chance.

We can conclude from this that we should never trust our intuition about whether people lie or not!
