Were the colonists justified in their actions at the Boston Massacre? yes or no and why?

Answer:

No.

Explanation:

The colonists were NOT justified in their actions at the Boston Massacre. The colonists lost five lives for no reason. The Boston Massacre wasn’t even a massacre and the colonists didn’t do anything to get killed to begin with. I mean, the colonists did make fun of the Redcoats because they didn’t want the Redcoats around, but they didn’t deserve to die for that reason.

In A History of the US, it says “The mob is said to have taunted the Redcoats, yelling “Fire! Fire!”  Captain Preston was said to have told them to hold their fire.” The colonists got killed because they were being troublemakers. They got worse than they deserved.

To conclude, the colonists weren’t justified in their actions at the Boston Massacre, they were treated badly.

You may need to add more but that's what I know.
